We have two extremely talented piercers here at Mortez. Rachael and Emma work every Mon - Sat and offer a bespoke piercing experience. It's walk-in only so pop in to see them at your leisure.

They are both hugely into body autonomy as well as anatomy and body neutral, it's always about consent and safety.

Hello, Rach here! I have been piercing since 2002 (so just a few years of experience!). I have worked at a few different studios but I've now found my new home at Mortez.

Having co-owned and worked in a few studios over the years I took a break and moved into the beauty industry. From this I learnt new things about people, their bodies and how they are all interlinked. I hope that you can all benefit from my excellent customer care when you come in for a consult, piercing or jewellery change!

Hiya! My name is Emma. I am the Junior piercer at Mortez. I have been piercing for over a year now and I have taken to it like a.... Fish to water? Rat up a kilt? (You know what I mean!)

I have been a health care worker for around 15 years, when lockdown hit it made me take a serious look at what I wanted to do with my life. Due to having interchangable skills - when I was offered the chance to learn how to pierce. I jumped at it with both feet and never looked back.

I am embracing it wholeheartedly and have loved every minute of learning!
